In teaching, the focus is on models of professionalised work and on their implications for professional identity, evaluation and quality development. The research of the division aims to further develop theories in pedagogical Professionalization. One focal point is the investigation of higher education teaching as a central site of Professionalization processes. Methodologically sound case studies are viewed as a significant contribution to Professionalization in training and further education processes.
