On Friday, 26 April 2019, the 15th "Aktionstag" of the "Junge Uni" took place at the Technology Campus of the University of Innsbruck. More than 1800 children and young people were able to breath campus air at the 50 stations represented from the fields of social, economic, natural and technical sciences and were given insights into current research work. With his contribution "From digital image to 3D model. Reconstruction of Prehistoric Mining with the Help of Photogrammetry" Manuel Scherer-Windisch was part of the presentations in the Visualization Laboratory 1669. The children were able to take a trip to prehistoric mines using 3D and VR glasses.
