Luca Cabras is a Ph.D. candidate at the department of Political Science, University of Milan. He earned a bachelor's degree in International Cooperation and a Master's degree in International Relations from the University of Turin. He later obtained a Master's degree in European Studies from the European College of Parma.

His main research interests include international relations, international political economy, EU public policy, and trade.

LINHART Tomáš, Mgr.

Tomas Linhart, Bc. Bc. (2018) Mgr. (2020), is an exchange researcher 2022 from Charles University, Prague, holder of the AKTION scholarship (by OeAD). At the Department of Political Science, he conducts his Master thesis research in coordination with Univ.-Prof. Dr. Andreas Maurer. His dissertation is focused on the profession of foreign correspondents in media and the transformation of their role in the era of social media.

He studied International Area Studies and Marketing Communication at Charles University and Leeds Beckett University; subsequently, he obtained a Master degree in North American Studies at Charles University. At the same institution, he currently pursues a degree in Journalism. His main topics of interest are the role of journalists in conflict areas; ethical boundaries of journalists; interconnection between sports and politics in international affairs.

During his research tenure, he temporarily suspended his job at Deník N, the Czech independent nationwide newspaper. Since March 2021 he is a co-host of a career-focused podcast Kam pak.

AZIM Syed Wasif, PhD

AZIM Syed Wasif 2021

Azim, Syed Wasif was a Post-Doctoral Research fellow in the department of Political Science, University of Innsbruck (funded by OeAD: Agency for Education and Internationalization, Austria through Ernst Mach worldwide Grant). Previously, he was an IPFP Research Fellow (funded by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan) in the university of Chitral, Pakistan. He received his PhD from the University of Peshawar (funded by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan). His main areas of research include the relationship between violent conflict and identities (ethnic, national, religious and gender). He is also interested in women socio-political participation.

His work has appeared in Pakistan based Journals like LASSIJ: Liberal Arts and Social Sciences International Journal and in international journals such as Asian Women.

BEZWAN Naif, Dr. 

BEZWAN NaifDr. Naif Bezwan studierte Sozialwissenschaften an der Hacettepe University, der Middle East Technical University (beide Ankara) sowie an der Universität Osnabrück. Er promovierte 2007 ebendort.

Nach diversen Forschungsaufenthalten (unter anderem an der London School of Economics and Political Science sowie am University College London) ist er seit September 2018 am Institut für Politikwissenschaft tätig.

Forschungsschwerpunkte: Political Theory, Theories of International Relations, International Law and Conflict Resolution, Self-Determination Conflicts, Comparative Politics, Turkey's Political and Administrative System, Foreign Policy and the Kurdish Politics
