A political scientist by training, Doris holds a MA and PhD in European Studies. She is Associate Lecturer at the University for Applied Sciences Kehl, the University of Continuing Education Krems, and at the Centre International de Formation Européenne (CIFE) in Nice, Berlin and Budapest. Doris is a founding member of the "Innsbruck Center for European Research" (ICER) and co-editor of the "Europawissenschaftliche Reihe" (Nomos/iup). Her resent research focuses on EU Lobbing & Advocacy, EU Health & Consumer Policy, EU Consultative Bodies (EESC and CoR) and especially EU Parliamentarism due to almost fourteen years of professional experience as a MEP’s Head of Office.

Her research focuses on issues of transnational and supranational legitimacy, democracy, and parliaments in the EU system, in particular inter-parliamentary relations of parliaments in the EU multi-level parliamentary system. Current research concentrates on the theoretical conceptualization of European disintegration, the analysis of the conditions of European integration and disintegration, legitimacy and parliaments in the EU as well as comparative federalism research.

Christoph Ivanusch is Research Fellow at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center (WZB) and PhD student in Political Science at the University of Innsbruck. At the WZB he is part of the H2020 project "OPTED Observatory for Political Texts in European Democracies". His research interests include political parties, political communication and quantitative text analysis.

Franz Reiter is a PhD Candidate and Uni.Docs Fellow at the Department of Communication at the University of Vienna since August 2019. He holds a BA degree in Political Science and a MA degree in European and International Studies from the University of Innsbruck.
In his dissertation, he investigates the perceptions, contents and effects of positive, negative and dirty campaigning in Western Europe. His main research interests focus on political advertising, electoral communication, media effects, and quantitative methods.

RUẞMANN Uta, FH-Prof. Mag. Dr.

Uta Rußmann studied Communication and Media Sciences, Sociology and Political Science at the Universities of Vienna and Tampere (Finland). In 2007 she obtained a PhD from the University of Vienna. From 2007 to 2009 she worked as a Post-Doctoral Researcher for the University of Vienna and the Austrian Academy of Sciences (Project "Continuity and Change in Campaign Communication in Austria since 1966"). Since August 2009 she is part of the AUTNES Campaign Side team in Innsbruck as a Post-Doctoral Researcher. Since 2012 she is professor at the "FHWien der WKW".
Her main research interests include political communication, media and elections, new media, web campaigning and use and reception of media.

Matthias Scantamburlo is Assistant Professor at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and team member of the Regional Manifestos Project. Previously he held research positions at Aston University (Birmingham, United Kingdom) and the University of Deusto (Bilbao, Basque Country). He completed his doctorate in Political Science at the University of Innsbruck (Austria) with a dissertation focusing on regionalist parties and multi-dimensional electoral competition. His major research interests include territorial politics, political parties, and electoral competition in multi-level settings. His research has been published in journals such as West European Politics, Regional & Federal Studies and Representation, among others.

Magnus Schoeller is a researcher at the Centre for European Integration Research (EIF), Department of Political Science, University of Vienna. He holds a PhD from the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence, Italy, and an APART-GSK Fellowship from the Austrian Academy of Sciences. Magnus is the author of Leadership in the Eurozone and a co-author of European Parliament Ascendant (both Palgrave Macmillan 2019). His articles on eurozone governance, political leadership and EU politics have appeared in journals such as the Journal of European Public Policy, West European Politics or the Journal of Common Market Studies. He has taught courses on international relations, European integration, and research design at the universities of Düsseldorf and Vienna.
