A Comparative Analysis of Crisis Communication by Governments and Heads of State
Research Assistant
From 1 October 2021 to 30 September 2023, 20 hours/week.
Responsibilities
The student assistant will support the project team in collecting data, developing the coding scheme, and coding material. S/he will have the opportunity to write an MA thesis on a question related to the topic of the project.
Required Qualifications
- Enrollment in the University of Innsbruck’s political science programme (BA or MA, active by 30 September 2021)
- Basic skills in quantitative methods for the social sciences
- Proficiency (C1) in English and intermediate command of German (B1), additional languages are an asset.
- Willingness to take further training in analytics methods and software (including R)
- Ability to work in teams
- Social competence
Salary
The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for the position of a student assistant is 1,073.70 EUR per month (incl. tax, 14 times/year).
