The MA Program in Peace Studies is part of the European Consortium of Graduate Programs in Peace and Development Studies. Within this network students have the opportunity to participate in semesters at any of the affiliated institutes.

The Unit for Peace and Conflict Studies collaborates with the Cambridge Peace and Education Research Group, University of Cambridge in a variety of projects, research activities and exchange of teaching staff. Those collaborations include the joint organisation of the 2017 International Institute for Peace Education (IIPE) as well as the joint initiation of the diálogo de saberes in Colombia with five different lines of inquiry. In February 2017 Prof. Hilary Cremin of the Cambridge Faculty of Education is hosted and teaches at the MA Program for Peace Studies as part of her guest professorship at the University of Innsbruck.

In the frame of the Erasmus+ funded PESTUGE Project Caucasus University, Tbilisi State University, Ilia State University, and Sokhumi State University from Georgia and Dublin City University, Trinity College Dublin and Ulster University from the European Union cooperate with the Unit for Peace and Conflict Studies.

The Jena Center for Reconciliation Studies at Friedrich Schiller University Jena is cooperating with the Unit for Peace and Conflict Studies in research and teaching on peace and reconciliation, post-conflict recovery and peace building, with an emphasis on Colombia.

A cooperation of teaching and staff exchange exists between the Innsbruck MA Program in Peace Studies and the Maestría en Derechos Humanos y Cultura de Paz at the Universidad Pontificia Javeriana, Cali.

The University of Hamburg, Faculty of Education and the Unit for Peace and Conflict Studies are collaborating in the field of Higher Education Capacity Building in a joined proposal in the fields of conflict transformation, cultures of peaces and pedagogy for memory.

The SAT program is a comprehensive training aimed at promoting psycho-spiritual development. SAT brings about personal growth and transformation as well as the
 exploration of possible change in society. It has been created by Dr. Claudio Naranjo, pioneer of humanistic and transpersonal psychotherapy and the foremost elaborator of the Enneagram of personality.
The Unit for Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Innsbruck 
has established a collaboration with SAT Germany - France that enables students and alumni to benefit from special participation fees.

SAT Program
