OA publishing with Taylor & Francis

Austrian Science Fund-articles: informations below

University members with active employment contracts or students of the University of Innsbruck can publish open access in the publisher's hybrid journals without having to pay additional article processing charges. This agreement also includes the online access to journals of the publisher's Full Collection

Which journals can scientists of the universities publish in?

You can publish open access in all of Taylor & Francis's hybrid journals. A title list is available here.

Who can publish open access?

Eligible are authors, who

  • are corresponding authors of the article
  • are university members with active employment contracts or students of the University of Innsbruck
  • whose articles were accepted by a Taylor & Francis hybrid journal
  • are publishing an original research article

Procedure/Verification Process:

Throughout the publishing process, Taylor&Francis informs the corresponding author about the option of OA publishing. After the verification of the authorisation through the University Library, the author is asked for a binding notification on whether he/she want to publish open access. Please use your institutional email address and indicate the university to facilitate the verification of your affiliation with the university. The article is published under a Creative Commons licence (CC-BY).

In addition, the Austrian Academic Library Consortium KEMÖ has entered an agreement with the FWF and Taylor&Francis against “double dipping”, through which the Austrian Academic Library Consortium is refunded a proportional amount of the paid author charges by the FWF.
