Research interests

I have studied biogeography of fairy shrimps, food webs and plankton communities of temporary ponds. At the moment I focus on the role of ciliates in plankton communities and food webs, together with the effect of temperature on lake ciliate communities. I combine data analysis with lab experiments, field studies and molecular methods to disentangle the relationships in aquatic communities and effect of climate change.
