Since October 2017, Katharina Dobler is working as a research assistant (project assistant) for the FWF-funded research project "Die Reform des österreichischen Erbrechts 2015" for assoz. Prof. Dr. Gregor Christandl, LL.M. (Yale).

From October 2012 to November 2016, Katharina Dobler completed her law studies at the University of Innsbruck, during which she gained initial legal experience in the course of two internships at law firms in Vorarlberg (Austria). After completing her diploma program, Katharina Dobler immediately started the doctoral studies at the University of Innsbruck. The topic of her dissertation is a historical and comparative analysis of the emergency will. Within the FWF project, Katharina Dobler is particularly concerned with the Austrian statutory inheritance law and legacies.

  • Private law, in particular law of succession (testaments, intestate succession, legacies)
