In our research we share an interest in studying management accounting as social and organizational practice and are thus part of the interdisciplinary perspectives on accounting project. The research interests of the Team Management Accounting cover a wide range of topics, e.g.,

  • performance measurement, evaluation, and control systems
  • risk management and control systems
  • management accounting and control systems in not-for-profit
    organizations, e.g., hospitals
  • NGO accountability practices, e.g., in international development
  • accounting and economizing in healthcare
