Exchange with practice

Exchange with the world of practice is important for us – not only so as to gain input for our research and teaching activities, but also to support practitioners in reflecting upon and exchanging their experiences.

In the course of our research projects we regularly examine various aspects of management control practice within companies and other types of organizations. In addition to our scientific publications, we transfer experiences and insights back to the management control community, by means of publications in practitioner-oriented journals or by means of events like the Controlling Round Table.

Our "Partnership" model offers firms the possibility to engage in increased cooperation with our department. The Partnership is an annual agreement that facilitates on-going dialogue between the department and firms.

In particular, firms can benefit from the following offers:

  • Possibility to present themselves as employer (in lectures, on the website, etc.)
  • Organized contact with students, support in recruiting
  • Addressing specific questions in the course of master or bachelor theses
  • Input on particular managment control issues in the form of specialized courses with students
  • Organized exchange with other practitioners (Round Table)
  • Feedback and benchmarking on management control practices in the course of research projects

The sponsoring of the above activities is used to employ Ph.D. students, to organized events such as the Round Table and to cover on-going costs in research and teaching.

Are you interested in cooperating with us? We look forward to you hearing from you!
