New publication on the work of management accountants

“Backstage and frontstage interactions in management accountants' identity work”, a paper jointly written by Lukas Goretzki (Sthockholm School of Economics) and Martin Messner (University of Innsbruck) has been published in the renowned journal Accounting, Organizations and Society .Based on an in-depth case study the authors demonstrate how backstage and frontstage interactions with various actors allow management accountants to position themselves as business partners.
