Aurora is looking for you: Project Manager for Research and Innovation starting from 1.9.2021

Within the framework of the Aurora European Universities Alliance, in which Universität Innsbruck has been participating since November 2019, the project "Research and Innovation for Societal Impact" (Aurora RI) will be launched shortly. Aurora RI is intended to expand cooperation in research and innovation management between the participating alliance universities.

The project is funded for a period of three years by Horizon 2020 funds from the European Commission.

For the coordination and implementation of the project at Universität Innsbruck, we are seeking for a project manager with the following duties and responsibilities, starting from 1.9.2021:

  • Planning and implementation of the participation of Universität Innsbruck in the Aurora RI project, in particular lead of the work package "Sharing Infrastructure and resources" for a stronger networking of the research infrastructures between the Aurora universities
  • Responsibility for resource planning and accounting, meeting milestones and deliverables, and monitoring ongoing project progress
  • Interface with all relevant external and internal stakeholders:
    • First contact person for the Aurora partner universities as well as the central Aurora Office in Amsterdam, with regard to the participation of Universität Innsbruck in the "Research and Innovation for Societal Impact" project
    • Networking function within the university along the other work packages of the project (Research & innovation support plan, academia - business cooperation, human resources, open science practices, citizen engagement) as well as the objectives of the Aurora European University Alliance (Erasmus+ funded).
  • Involvement in the overall development of research collaborations among Aurora universities and identification/utilization of synergies between the teaching and research dimensions of the Aurora European University Alliance

This is a temporary employment from the third-party funds from 01.09.2021 to 30.09.2024 with 30 working hours / weekly.
