Application

The University of Innsbruck has established numerous partnerships with Universities from all around the world. Before you apply you must make sure that your Home University has a partnership agreement with the University of Innsbruck.

After receiving the official nomination from your University, the International Relations Office (IRO) will send you an e-mail with all the necessary information regarding application, registration, housing etc.

  

In order for your application to be processed, it's important that you submit all required documents:

  • Official Nomination from Home University
  •       Application Form
  • Transcript of Records
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Copy of Passport
  • Copy of Bachelor Certificate and Transcripts of Bachelor programme (for students who apply for a master programme)

You do not need to present any hard copies.

 

Nomination deadline

Winter semester or full year: 1st April

Summer semester: 1st November

 

Application deadline

Winter semester or full year: 1st June

Summer semester: 1st December

  

The Admission Department reviews your application documents. If you are accepted the Admission Department will issue the letter of acceptance (so called “Mitteilung”). We will send a scanned version to your e-mail address and send the Original to your coordinator at your home university. Please note that you will need the original acceptance letter for your visa application and for your registration here in Innsbruck.
