Aurora Semester Mobility

Would you like to spend a study-related semester abroad in Europe next academic year, but have been hesitant to apply? As part of the Aurora Exchange Program, there are still a few remaining spots at Aurora partner universities for last-minute applicants.

What is the Aurora Semester Mobility?
As a member of the European university network Aurora and within the Aurora European Universities Alliance, the University of Innsbruck focuses on intensive cooperation with selected partners from Reykjavik to Naples. The newly created Aurora Exchange Program offers students the opportunity to spend a semester abroad at one of the partner universities. Students of all subjects - with some subject-specific exceptions - can apply for the exchange places, provided that their studies are offered at the respective university of choice. Please inform yourself independently about the courses offered at the Aurora universities.

Scholarship
A place on the Aurora Exchange Program comes with a tuition waiver and a monthly stipend equal to the scholarship rates under the Erasmus+ program. The current scholarship rates can be found in the Aurora Alliance Mobility Plan of the University of Innsbruck. An aliquot repayment of the scholarship is required in case of falling short of 15 ECTS/semester during the semester abroad.

Application deadline
Application is possible from June 13, 2022 until July 31, 2022. For more information on the application process, please see below. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Philip Gutschi at any time, by email at aurora-mobility@uibk.ac.at or by phone at 0512 / 507 32411.
