International collaborations as well as exchanges rest upon on trustful connections. Aurora, as a network of closely cooperating universities, offers this framework and stands for new possibilities within administratively simple ways at the same time.

For both scientists and administrative staff, new formats and offers are continuously developed along concrete challenge areas, and funding opportunities for (scientific) exchange and teaching development are offered. Through funding from the European Commission, the OeAD and the University of Innsbruck, a variety of funding opportunities are also available for all these activities.

Aurora Mini Grant

The Aurora Mini Grant Program offers a low-threshold funding opportunity to support joint scientific activities with up to EUR 4.000,-.


Aurora Staff Mobility

The Aurora Staff Mobility program provides funding for teaching and research stays as well as for the initiation of such stays. 

Funding opportunities for general staff

SUCTI – Systemic University Change Towards Internationalisation

A one-week intensive training at Aurora's partner university Rovira i Virgili (Tarragona, Spain) offers general staff members the opportunity to acquire extensive competences in the field of internationalization and to use them as trainers at the University of Innsbruck.

The call and selection process for the SUCTI Training 2021 has ended. Four colleagues of the University of Innsbruck could participate in this edition. A new call will be announced in due time.
