RoSsini - RobOt kidS deSign thiNkIng

RoSsiniis a local project, that enables children and teenagers to get in touch with the field of Robotics for the first time.

Together in a small team, the young participants get the chance to design, build and program their (first) robot, supported by scientists from the Department of Computer Science of the University of Innsbruck.

The project RoSsini - RobOt kidS deSign thiNkIng - was launched in the spring of 2018 as a collaboration of the Department of Computer Science, the FabLab Spielraum Innsbruck and the Junge Uni Innsbruck

Their mutual goal is to create an opportuity for children and teenagers to give free rein to their creativity. Within the workshops, the researchers only offer their expertise and the necessary material to build a robot, the design and construction is entirely up to the participants. So the workshops do not only focus on technical aspects, but how to work and solve problems in a team (= design thinking).
