On the 11th of July, Marco Grasse, Carina Miggitsch and Erin Naismith (PhD students from the Immunology Group) participated in a Day retreat as a part of the HOROS PhD Program. The meeting was held in the picturesque Tegernsee region of Germany, and even included some hands on opportunities to meet Kahn, the friendly falcon sponsored by the HOROS members in a Godparentship. The meaning of HOROS in greek is Falcon, and the HOROS PhD Program is represented by a Falcon as their emblem.
