 Petit

Michèle obtained her Master’s degree in Molecular Cell and Developmental Biology at the Leopold-Franzens-University in Innsbruck. For her master’s thesis she joined the lab of Univ.-Prof. Dr. Pidder Jansen-Dürr, where she was focused on the role of the mitochondrial enzyme FAHD1 in human cells. Since 2017, she carries on her work to further investigate the role of oxaloacetate decarboxylase FAHD1 in regulation of cell proliferation and cellular senescence. In particular she is interested in methods to investigate mitochondrial physiology.
