A multidisciplinary study of the largest historically recorded landslide at a volcanic island (Ritter Island, Papua New Guinea)

Maddalena Sammartini contributed to a study on the largest historically-recorded landslide at a volcanic island (Ritter Island, Papua New Guinea) during her internship at the University of Malta. The collapse of Ritter Island in 1888 generated a large tsunami; therefore providing a unique opportunity to further investigate the link between landslide emplacement and tsunami generation.
