The team of the Remote Sensing & Topographic LiDAR Research Group (Institute of Geography, University of Innsbruck) is looking for two researchers with background and interest in Alpine geomorphology, remote sensing and landscape ecology for the research project MICROCLIM (A micro-scale perspective on alpine floras under climate change. Linking observations and models to improve our understanding of the future of European high mountain plants). Together with partners at University of Vienna and the Austrian Academy of Sciences an interdisciplinary team of scientists will investigate the potential of close-range and remote sensing to map geomorphology and climate variables in high resolution.
