The Vice-Rectors for Studies of the universities of Bolzano, Innsbruck and Trento have granted funding for the Euregio Mobility Fund project HPCDSI. This project is a joint undertaking among these three universities in order to increase the research and teaching collaboration in the field of high performance computing and computational data science. The Free University of Bozen-Bolzano and the University of Innsbruck are going to host workshops held by lecturers from all three participating universities, including talks given by the FZ HPC and the DPS group of the Institute of Computer Science of the University of Innsbruck. The workshops will address topics such as deep learning, graph analytics or large-scale numerical systems from the perspectives of parallel computer systems, algorithms and modeling. These events are going to offer students in Tyrol and Trentino high-quality lectures on cutting-edge technologies and methodologies, while also providing the opportunity for establishing long-term collaborations among the participating institutions.
