Target audience

Since courses on the law of digital technology have only recently been introduced into university curricula in Austria and abroad, many students and practicing lawyers have not yet had the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills in this field of law. This course aims to fill this gap.

The course is addressed to students and practicing lawyers who want to gain specialized knowledge in the digital technology law of the European Union and who want to gain a basic understanding of legal tech.

The course does not require previous knowledge on any technical aspects of digital innovation. An (ongoing or completed) law degree or working experience in the legal field are necessary to be able to follow this course. Basic understanding of European Union law is desirable, but not essential.
