Master program: Information Systems - Sustainable Digitization

 

Welcome to the Website of the Master Program "Information Systems" at the University of Innsbruck.

In the digital transformation age, the majority of companies conduct digital transformation programs to digitize, integrate, and automate business processes, to analyze big data sets, to automate decision making using artificial intelligence, etc. At the same time new technologies transform our society, markets and individual behaviours. The goal of this master program is to analyse and help to design the sustainable digitisation of organisations, markets and societies.

Courses commence: October 2018

Important notes: NEW lecture "Fundamentals of Business Information Systems" is held as a block course at the start of the winter term (4.10., 9.00-16.00 & 5.10., 9.00-14.00).

Exam date I:  16.10 / Exam date II: 25.10.  

 

Please be aware that you need to pass the exam at one of these exam dates to be enrolled in all other courses of the first semester which start in the week after the first exam
(Fundamentals of Business Information Systems is a precondition for all other courses of the Master program).

All applicants who want to apply for the Master program "Information Systems" in winter term 18/19 (Start of the courses: 01.10.2018) have to be enrolled as Master student until the first course starts. For further questions please do not hesitate to contact us (master-is@uibk.ac.at).

The whole Master Program Information Systems is held in English and therefore we expect all applicants to have good command in English (equivalent to a TOEFL score of 100/250/600 (IBT/CBT/PBT) or a IELTS score of 7.0).
