Side excitationFor our quantum dot project we are looking for a PhD student with experimental experience in semiconductor nanostructure optics. The experience should ideally be documented by publications in this domain.

Innsbruck offers a great and competitive scientific environment in the fields of quantum optics and quantum information. The Photonics group focuses on using semiconductor nanostructures for quantum optics and quantum communications tasks.

The position is university-funded, comes with a three year contract and involves some teaching duty. Most teaching can be done in English. A willingness to learn some German is helpful to function well in the Innsbruck environment.
