What shapes an academic career and how much of it is influenced by gendered expectations and invisible work?
This event brings together perspectives on two often overlooked dimensions of academic life: how ideas about what a “scientist” should be can shape roles, expectations and opportunities, and how care work within universities remains largely invisible and unequally distributed.
Fabienne Décieux and Nikola Komlenac will discuss these issues and invite the audience to reflect on how gender inequality is reproduced in academic institutions and what we can do to challenge it.
All members of the university community are warmly invited.
