Have you recently moved to Tyrol from abroad to work long-term in a Tyrolean company or at a Tyrolean university?
We are very happy that you are here and would like to warmly invite you to an event hosted by the Welcome Service Tirol:
On Friday, September 26, 2025, the Welcome Service Tirol is organizing a culinary journey around the world for both newcomers and those who have been in Tirol for some time.
All guests are warmly invited to bring a small dish or specialty that is typical of their home country. Whether sweet or savory – we look forward to traveling the world together through food! Of course, you are also very welcome to simply join us and enjoy the afternoon without bringing anything.
On this “journey” to countries near and far, we would love for some participants to share insights about their countries or cultures. Do you have an unusual or amusing tradition in your home country? Are there surprising or humorous differ-ences between your country and Austria? Or perhaps there are unexpected simi-larities? We look forward to hearing your stories, no matter what they may be. Of course, all sharing is completely voluntary.
