Research Centre Education - Generation - Life Course
The teaching and research area "Generational Relationships and Educational Research" is a member of the Research Centre "Education - Generation - Life Course" research centre, which was founded in 2005. The research centre is concerned with the changes in education, learning and generational relationships in our modern societies and, against the background of rapid social and societal change, examines the developments and opportunities for participation of children, young people and adults in various contexts from a bio-ecological perspective and from a life course perspective. With innovative theoretical and empirical research, the research centre aims to contribute to new scientific findings and provide support for educational policy and practice.
Interdisciplinary cooperation
Thirty researchers from various institutes at the University of Innsbruck and from several non-university institutions work together in the Research Centre on an interdisciplinary basis.
The research centre is a member of the interdisciplinary Research Area "Economy, Politics & Society" EPoS.
