Study and teaching

The teaching and research area of General Educational Sciences and Historical Educational Research is widely represented in the teaching of both the BA and MA programmes as well as the PhD. This includes introductory and in-depth lectures, courses and seminars as well as methods courses and teaching in "Special Communication and Action Skills". Depending on the teaching format and module, fundamental questions are combined with current research. Attention is paid to research-led, innovative teaching/learning concepts with alternative educational approaches involving students (e.g. school award winners) and this also applies to courses on research methods (e.g. biographies of senior citizens) or excursions in Master's courses to places where "bodies" are negotiated (e.g. maternity wards, exhibitions, courts, etc.).
