Marc Hill is an educational scientist and migration researcher at the University of Innsbruck. He studied education with a minor in psychology and sociology in Cologne. He has gained professional experience as an associate professor, project manager, member of the Curriculum Commission and the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Educational Sciences as well as Dean of Studies. He is currently the spokesperson for the teaching and research area of Migration and Education. He has worked with adolescent pupils, urban citizens, artists and curators in socio-educational and intercultural education projects. His research areas are migration, diversity and education, in particular post-migrant studies.

Education: Habilitation (University of Innsbruck, 2019), PhD (University of Klagenfurt, 2013), Diplom-Pädagoge (University of Cologne, 2009).

Research project: Faces of migration. Young people from Tyrol explore their family migration history together, Citizen Science (07/2017-12/2019).

Third Mission: Young Science Ambassador, OeAD, Agency for Education and Internationalisation.

Educational experience: Development and realisation of city tours "Solo for Many - a listening experience through Innsbruck" (04/2017-06/2019). Intercultural youth work/school project (01/2014-07/2015). Participation in the programme development and testing of the "Diversity Compass" teaching module for Personnel Departments, educational institutions and interested teams and individuals (03/2011-03/2012).
