Welcome Lorenzo! Lorenzo is  a master's student from the univer­sity of Padua and is joining the the Cryo team for his master's project. He will work on designing modular trap blocks for surface traps that can be used to simplify trap design and make it more flex­i­ble. This involves simu­lating trap­ping poten­tials to opti­mize the elec­trode geome­tries and in­ves­ti­gate the usability of the trap blocks for different exper­i­mental setups.
