Welcome Jakob! Jakob earned his bach­e­lor's degree in Inns­bruck. In his bach­e­lor's thesis super­vised by Thomas Monz, he engaged in quantum error correc­tion. Now he is pursuing a master's degree in physics and a exten­sion programme in computer science here in Inns­bruck. For his master’s thesis, he joined the Hype­rion team and will work on new tech­niques for entan­gling gate char­ac­ter­i­za­tion.
