Innsbruck Winter Summit "Un(Ethical) Behavior in Markets"

From 19 to 21 March the first edition of the "Innsbruck Winter Summit - (Un)Ethical Behavior in Markets" took place at the University of Innsbruck. The event was combined with the 6-day "Innsbruck Winter School on Credence Goods, Incentives and Behavior".

The lectures and discussions focused on the (un)ethical behaviour of producers and consumers, which can lead to conflicts of interest and consequently to an inefficient distribution of resources. Leading international researchers from the field such as Goerge Loewenstein, Anna Dreber-Almenberg, Martin Dufwenberg and Mattias Sutter accepted the invitation of the Special Research Unit "Credence Goods, Incentives and Behavior".

PhD students and postdocs from 17 different international universities were able to exchange ideas not only during the scientific sessions, but also during skiing, cross-country skiing and the final snowshoe hike at night.
