General Introduction

The Plants in Art topic contains 10 modules; two of them are specially designed for the Botanic Gardens.
The aim is for children to discover plant science through art. Since different cross-curricular activities are used throughout the whole project, these modules are intended to cover the wide scope of arts.
Fine arts, arts and crafts, music, drama, traditions and customs are included in a range of creative projects.
The Plants in Art topic fits well into the teaching and learning of a wide range of age groups. The activities can be attempted with children form 6 to 12 years of age.
