| Objectives |
Drawing on the results of WP5-8 and taking into account the different implementation procedures in the Alpine countries, this WP will:
· provide an overview of instruments supporting regional progress
· and elaborate proposals for tools facilitating transnational regional development. |

· Overview of instruments supporting sustainable regional development in the specific sector
· Identification of promoting and hindering conditions for the implementation of regional development tools (see WP5)
· Selection of suitable indicators (see WP7 and 8)
· Proposals for improvement of existing or elaboration of new steering tools for the selected sector
· Optimisation of the tools integrating the results of the stakeholder workshops (see WP10 and 11)

Compilation of an overview of indicator based and qualitative instruments supporting sustainable regional development in the specific sector determined in WP6; identification of promoting and hindering conditions which influence the work with development instruments in the selected sector taking into account the different planning milieus in the cultural regions (see WP5); selection of suitable indicators considering the significance of the different driving forces (see WP7) and availability of the data (see WP8); proposals for improvement of existing or elaboration of new steering tools for the selected sector; optimisation of the instruments, integrating the results of the stakeholder workshops (see WP10 and 11); compilation of internal and external reports |
