Update LimeSurvey Donnerstag 01. und Freitag 02. Oktober 2026
Am 01/02 Oktober wird die von der Universität Innsbruck zur Verfügung gestellte Umfragesoftware „LimeSurvey“ auf eine neue Version (v. 7.0.x) upgedatet. Während des Update-Prozesses werden alle in der aktuellen Instanz enthaltenen Umfragen migriert - die LimeSurvey-Instanz der Universität Innsbruck (umfrage.uibk.ac.at/admin) kann während des Updates nicht genutzt werden. Bei laufenden Umfragen wird während des Updates ein PopUp-Fenster eingeblendet, das UmfrageteilnehmerInnen darauf aufmerksam macht, dass an der Umfrage zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt teilgenommen werden kann.
Sobald das Update abgeschlossen ist, senden wir eine Nachricht an alle Umfrage-Admins aus.
Das Update umfasst vor allem stärkere Sicherheitseinstellungen, die Erstellung und Bearbeitung von Umfragen wird in der neuen Version kaum verändert sein. Sie können sich in der Test-Instanz unter https://umfrage-sandbox.uibk.ac.at/sandbox/ vorab einen Eindruck über die upgedatete Softwareversion verschaffen. Bitte beachten Sie jedoch, dass diese LimeSurvey-Testinstanz nicht geeignet ist, um tatsächliche Umfragen durchzuführen. Umfragen, die in dieser Instanz angelegt sind, werden darüber hinaus regelmäßig gelöscht werden.

Update LimeSurvey Thursday 1st und Friday 2nd October 2026
On October 1–2, the "LimeSurvey" survey software provided by the University of Innsbruck will be updated to a new version (v. 7.0.x). During the update process, all surveys contained in the current instance will be migrated; the University of Innsbruck’s LimeSurvey instance (umfrage.uibk.ac.at/admin) will be unavailable for use during this time. For active surveys, a pop-up window will appear during the update, informing participants that they can complete the survey at a later time.
We will send a notification to all survey administrators once the update is complete. The update primarily introduces enhanced security settings; the process of creating and editing surveys will remain largely unchanged in the new version. You can preview the updated software version in the test instance at https://umfrage-sandbox.uibk.ac.at/sandbox/. Please note, however, that this LimeSurvey test instance is not suitable for conducting actual surveys. Furthermore, any surveys created in this instance will be deleted on a regular basis.
