Life Science Meeting 2013
This year the Life Science Meeting, which is organized annually together by the CMBI (LFU) and the Biocenter (MUI), was held on the occasion of its 5th anniversary in cooperation with the Austrian Association of Molecular Life Sciences and Biotechnology (ÖGMBT), the Biophysics Austria and the Austrian Proteomics Association. The symposium took place in the Center for Chemistry and Biomedicine in Innsbruck from September 25 through 27, 2013. The high attendence of more than 400 participants (including 280 poster contributions) confirmed the importance of exchange of experiences for the young scientists. The big success of the meeting was also reflected in the lively, mostly interdisciplinary discussions during the oral presentations and poster sessions.
