Hearings for the Tenure-Track position "Glaciology"

The Department of Atmospheric and Cryospheric Sciences (ACINN) in the Faculty of Geo- and Atmospheric Sciences at the Leopold Franzens University Innsbruck seeks to fill a tenure track position in glaciology.


The four selected candidates will give a 40 mins presentation in English:

  • 20 min ​ teaching​ : "Sublimation over snow and ice" for target audience of bachelor level students in atmospheric science with previous courses in physics, atmospheric thermodynamics and introductory meteorology
  • 20 min ​ research​ : connecting highlights of their own research with research plan for the University of Innsbruck (with at least 10 min for planned research)

The presentations will take place on Wednesday 27 November 2019, in the ACINN seminar room (Bruno Sanderhaus, 8th floor, #60819):

13.30 - 14.10: Dr. Andrew Tedstone
15.30 - 16.10: Dr. Lindsey Nicholson
