Scientific meetings

The issue-oriented focus of CARBOMONT will result from scientific priorities and also from a dialogue between scientists, socio-economists and stakeholders, and thus is suitable for application to sustainable development in the mountain areas studied. CARBOMONT will take an active role in developing perceptions of mountain ecosystem function as they are revealed from the planned project and research activities within national programmes.
