Pawel Mochalski

Dr. Paweł Mochalski is a physicist and a senior research scientist with over 20 years of experience in trace gas analysis involving gas chromatography and mass spectrometry, proton transfer reaction mass spectrometry, GC-IMS and e-sensors.

His scientific interests embrace breath analysis, human scent analysis, volatile disease biomarkers, application of chemical analysis for the early detection of entrapped humans, and the development of novel analytical methods for the detection and identification of new volatile biomarkers (GC-MS, PTR-TOF-MS, and IMS).

An author of more than 60 peer-reviewed publications from the area of breath Research.

In 2016, Paweł Mochalski was awarded the Anton Amann Medal of the International Association of Breath Research for his outstanding contributions to the field of breath Research.
