MELOBEAUMON

Melolontha spp. and Beauveria brongniartii monitoring in cockchafer infested areas in North and East Tyrol.
In cooperation with the Tyrolean Chamber of Agriculture (LWT), a Melolontha and Beauveria monitoring is carried out in North and East Tyrol in 2018. Our agricultural land has always been threatened by two species of the cockchafer (Melolontha melolontha and M. hippocastani) and therefore the use of Beauveria brongniartii BIPESCO 2, insecticidal active agent of the product MelocontTM, is announced to be used to control the pest in all districts of Tyrol in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner. Supported by the Regional Government of Tirol, the Mountain Agriculture Research financially supports the project from April to November 2018.

Runtime: 2018
