Activities and cooperations

The activities of the Research Centre Education – Generation – Lifecourse can be understood as a series of thematically linked projects and partial projects (for details, see Projects) that grow out of the synergy between the continuity and innovation that exists amongst the team members and their specific research interests. Projects span the three clusters outlined above, addressing local, national, European, and international levels of involvement. The projects are to a large extent very dynamic, i.e., they stand in relationship to one another and lead naturally to follow-up and larger-scale undertakings. What’s more, these activities are embedded in a framework of collaborative networks, whose members range from local/regional partners in arts/culture to national expert groups and to broad, cross-border networks comprising universities and international, transnational, and supranational organisations.
