Research

The main areas of research activities are related to

numerical modelling of concrete and FE-analyses of concrete structures
numerical modelling of rock and shotcrete and FE-simulations of tunneling
and numerical modelling of partially saturated soils, including finite element analyses of multi-phase problems.

The numerical work is complemented by experimental investigations for the validation of numerical models.
