Both the Innsbruck Letter Corpus and the Innsbruck Middle English Prose Corpus are now available on CD-ROM.

The Innsbruck Letter Corpus has been free of copyright restrictions ever since it was compiled, in the early 1990s, with the only restriction that it is only being distributed on CD-ROM (not online).

The Innsbruck Prose Corpus was originally restricted by copyright on some of the texts and could, therefore, only be distributed as a sampler, i.e. in parts. Thanks to our agreement with Oxford University Press, publisher of EETS volumes, this changed in 2010. As of 1 October 2010, all the 129 texts (159 files) of the Prose Corpus are available on CD-ROM to all international researchers intererested.

In order to receive either of the CD-ROMs by mail, you are requested to fill in our order form (click here) (also form of Fair Academic Use) and fax or send it to Prof. emer. Manfred Markus, Institut für Anglistik, Universität Innsbruck, Innrain 52, A 6020 Innsbruck, Austria; Fax +43 512 507 2882.

For the transmission of one of the CD-ROMs, including package and postage, you will be charged with 10€ per invoice (15€ for both CD-ROMs in one package).

All the ICAMET files are allowed for "fair academic use" only (Bern Convention). This means that the files, whether in full or in parts, must not be used for profit-making, but only under the aspect of individual research interests. All the files are protected as part of the Innsbruck corpora and must not be copied for commercial purposes or for the purpose of compiling another corpus.
