Music Workshop with Valerie Smith and the Liberty Pike Girls

On Tuesday, 15 October, the ACI sponsored a "talking concert" at the BORG Innsbruck featuring Valerie Smith and the Liberty Pike Girls. Some 45 music pupils, a few faculty and visitors were privileged to learn and listen with this all female bluegrass/mountain music/western roots music group. Talented and enthusiastic and engaging, the group wowed the audience with their performance, but also explained and demonstrated the instruments and even traditional American "clogging".
