AAS-ACI Joint Mardi Gras Parade

On February 17, the American Corner Innsbruck was site of a fabulous Mardi Gras party in true New Orleans style! Co-hosted by the Austro-American Society/Tirol, the event gathered more than 50 ACI guests and Austro-American Society members, who dutifully strutted their stuff to live music, good food and plenty of drink. Wouldn't be New Orleans with out all that! Two rounds of "Second-lining" through the streets of Innsbruck Old Town were the highlight of the party, with scores of people on the streets joining in and clamoring for the Mardi Gras beads we threw from the windows above. A great time was had by all as you can see on the pictures below!
