Prof. Günter Bischof presented his collection of essays entitled Relationships/Beziehungsgeschichten: Austria and the United States in the Twentieth Century to an audience of about 45 guests--mostly Austrian and American students and faculty--who gathered at the American Corner, in the Galerie Claudiana, for his take on Austrian-American relations.  Prof. Bischof explained the various themes he chose in a lively and interesting manner, prompting the sale of all volumes of the book brought for the book table by the publishing company StudienVerlag.  A small reception following Prof. Bischof's remarks allowed for a convivial exchange of thoughts and the making of new acquaintances.  The ACI was especially happy to welcome Eva Muhm from the American Reference Center of the U.S. Embassy to this event in Innsbruck. The American Corner Innsbruck hopes to welcome Prof. Bischof back for next years 40th anniversary of the UNO - Innsbruck International Summer School next summer.
