FCP Award for Sustainable Developments in Civil Engineering Dr. Patrick Salcher

 On March 18 2016 Dr. Patrick Salcher, former PhD student and Research Associate at the Unit of Applied Mechanics, was awarded the prestigious FCP Prize for Sustainable Developments in Civil Engineering 2015 for his doctoral thesis “Reliability assessment of railway bridges designed for high-speed traffic: modeling strategies and stochastic simulation” supervised by Professor Adam.

This prize is annually awarded by the engineering office FCP for outstanding and innovative doctoral thesis or a master’s thesis in the field of civil engineering accomplished at Austrian universities.
