Bernhard Egger

Mag. rer. nat. Dr. rer. nat., University Assistant

Current research

Regeneration, embryos and stem cells

I study regeneration and the embryonic and postembryonic development of free-living flatworms, including Macrostomum lignano and polyclads. I'm currently working in Max Telford's workgroup at the University College London to focus on developmental and phylogenetic aspects of polyclad larvae.

I'm head of the workgroup Regeneration at the Institute of Zoology at the University of Innsbruck.
