Ubuntu

Ubuntu is a Gnu/Linux based operating system. We have chosen Ubuntu because it is the most widely used GNU/Linux distribution (see Distrowatch). tuxtrans is based on the longterm support version Ubuntu 10.04.2 Lucid Lynx.

With Ubuntu you can do all the things you would do with any other operating system, it is very user friendly and on the web you will find a lot of support for every problem you may encounter.
